How it all connects

Tapestry’s Management System is made up of three core features: Booking, Invoicing, and Registers. Behind the scenes, the Config menu allows you to tailor each feature to suit your setting’s needs.

Booking is where everything begins. Once it’s set up, it powers what you see in both the Invoicing and Registers screens — shaping the data that flows through the rest of the system.

Setting up your Config Menu

To get started with the Management System, there are a few things to set up first in your Config menu — like your sessions, pricing, closures, extras, and rooms.

You’ll only need to do this once, and it lays the foundations for everything that follows in Booking, Invoicing, and Registers.

Explore the features

Booking

Just starting out? Bookings is the place to begin!

Tapestry’s Booking feature is what feeds into Invoicing and Registers. Use this feature to create schedules, apply extra charges and funded hours, monitor capacity, and book children in for your custom sessions.

Invoicing

The Invoicing feature on Tapestry allows for flexible billing, with different invoice calculations to suit different needs. Invoicing will draw automatically from the sessions you have created, as well as other things you have included such as extra bookings and discounts.

Registers

Built for the Tapestry app as well as the browser, this feature lets you sign children and staff in and out of your setting with the tap of your finger! Include notes, edit entry and exit times as required, and record children’s absences for illness, holidays and more.
