Helping families stay in the loop
Make sharing easy
Creating memos to send to parents and carers is quick and intuitive. You can include notes, clickable links to other webpages, media, and documents. This means you can effortlessly direct recipients to specific online resources and attach things like PowerPoints, Word documents, and PDFs all in one place, without crowding children’s journals.
Because you can choose which children are tagged, and therefore which relatives can see your memo, you can easily cater the message to the group you’re talking to.
7 ways to improve parental engagement using Tapestry
This post in our Learning Lab lists 7 useful features on Tapestry that you can use to help improve parental engagement at your setting.
Staying in touch
You could use memos to remind families of exciting events, upcoming trips, or to try and find out who that lost welly belongs to!
You will need to create memos via the browser version of Tapestry, but staff and families can view them via the app. If they have email notifications set up, they will also be sent any text you add into the notes section as a direct email.
