If Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) has been turned on by your child’s setting or school, this tutorial will talk you through how to access your account via the Tapestry app.

How to login with MFA on the app

To get started, you’ll need to login to your Tapestry account as normal via the app, using your email and password.

You will then be sent a notification email which contains a six-digit code that you will need to enter on the next screen.

Please note, this code is only valid for 10 minutes.

Back on the Tapestry app, after entering your email address and password, you will then see the Two-factor authentication screen where you will need to enter the Authentication code and then tap Validate to login.

Once you’ve successfully entered an authentication code, you won’t be asked again for 30 days, unless your IP address changes (i.e. you’re logging in from a different location).

What to do if you don't receive the authentication email

  • Firstly, if you’ve not received the notification email with an authentication code, we would recommend you check your junk or spam folder to ensure the email has not been filtered into there.
  • If you find the email, but the code is no longer valid because over 10 minutes has passed, you can send another email from the validation screen by tapping ‘Resend‘.
  • If you don’t see an email in your spam or junk folder at all, it’s worth trying to send another email following the points in the step above.
  • If you still aren’t receiving the email with the code in, you will need to speak to speak to your child’s setting or school and they can look into this for you. If they need any help with this they can get in touch with us by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info.
