If your child’s setting uses Booking and Invoices, they can send invoices to you through Tapestry. This tutorial explains how to find and open those invoices when using the Tapestry app.
If the setting has Tapestry Pay enabled then you will also be able to pay the invoice directly through the Tapestry app. You can refer to the tutorial here to see how to do this.
Accessing your invoices
You will receive a notification when invoices are sent to you, which can be accessed from the notification bell icon in the bottom right. If you click on the invoice notification it will take you to the invoices page where your invoices can be viewed.
The invoices will also be available from the invoices menu option on the left side menu, which you can access by clicking on the three lines in the top left. This will load the account balances for the children that you have linked to your account.
Click onto your child that you’d like to view the invoices for.
On this invoices page you can see the current account balance and a list of all of the invoice and payment activity that has been recorded. You can see an overview of the invoice including the total, the period it covers, and the invoice’s status. Select View PDF to access the invoice.
Reading an invoice
An example invoice can be seen below:
- At the top you will see basic information about the invoice, including the setting name, child’s name, invoice period, invoice number, invoice date, and payment due date. There is also a button to Download the invoice.
- If you see extra text above the Summary section, this has been added by your child’s setting.
- In the Summary section, you will see a breakdown of the charges included in the invoice.
- You may see an extra section with a blue heading in the Summary that breaks down bookings included in a child’s regular schedule. Whether this appears depends on your child’s setting.
- Underneath the summary, you will see the total amount due.
If you see extra text below the Total to Pay section, this has been added by your child’s setting. - If there are extra pages, you may see a blue heading called Regular Schedule Bookings. This gives a more detailed breakdown of the sessions included in the invoice.
And that’s it! If you have any questions about the content of your invoices please contact your child’s school or setting.
