This tutorial goes over how to enable the Accidents Only feature. Once enabled, you can add accidents as shown here.
If you want to enable the whole Care Diary feature, which includes accidents amongst other entry types, then this tutorial will show you how.
Only Managers will be able to enable this feature using the browser version of Tapestry.
To enable the Accidents feature, go to Configuration > Features.
Once in Features, you will find the Accidents Only feature near the top. By default, this will be red, indicating it is not enabled on your account yet. To enable it, click on the green Enable button to its right.
You will now see Accidents as a menu option on the left side of the screen.
Once enabled, the heading in the Features section appears green, and you will find a shortcut to quickly access the Accident Settings and the Relative Permissions concerning the feature.
Please note: the Relative Permissions option will only appear if Accidents are enabled for relatives via Accident settings.
When accessing the Accident Settings section you will be able to decide whether you share this feature with relatives or not.
If you make any changes, remember to Save.
If you access the Relative Permissions section, you will be able to review what relatives can or cannot do regarding an accident. If you wish to change any of the permissions from permitted to not permitted, or vice versa, click on Edit by the corresponding permission. You will then be able to change the default for all or apply different permissions to different users. Remember to Save any changes.
Likewise, you can review the permissions at any point directly from the Features section, or by going to Configuration > Relatives > Relative User Permissions > Accidents.
This is how you can enable the Accidents feature outside the Care Diary feature, which might not be applicable for your setting! Once enabled, you can start adding accident forms.
